3 Bedroom House in Englewood

3 bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Beds for 10 guests with additional blow-up mattresses if needed (one queen and one single), and a pack-n-play makes it so even the littlest guest can enjoy their stay. We are very family friendly and tried to think of everything all ages would need at this house to build memories to last a lifetime.

Enjoy your get away at this spacious, well appointed home with updated furnishing, top of the line appliances, granite counter tops and cabinets throughout, situated just steps from Gulf of Mexico beaches.
Manasota Key, a quiet barrier island on the Gulf of Mexico is located just south of Longboat Key, Lido Key, Siesta Key, and Casey Key. It is also just north of Fort Meyers and Sanibel Island. You can day trip to explore some of these other beaches and return to the comfort of your own home away from home each night.
The Sugar Shack has been recently updated with new flooring and furnishings. It comes complete with WIFI and high-speed internet, if you choose to stay "on the grid", however after a day or so in paradise, getting off-the-grid becomes much easier.
The Primary bathroom is finished with a granite counter top, ceramic tile floor, and combination tub shower. Guest bathroom has a granite counter top and a ceramic tile stall shower. There is also an outdoor shower to wash off your sandy feet.
All 3 bedrooms have over-sized closets and televisions for your enjoyment. The primary (upstairs) bedroom has a queen bed, the downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and the bunk room has a full over full bunk bed with a twin pull put out trundle & an additional twin bed.
Imagine being located on Manasota Key and staying less than 150 yards from the beach!
Lounge in the sun or under the moonlight on the 2nd floor large deck, or enjoy some R&R on the large covered ground lanai spending your time on the porch swing or hammocks. Enjoy your meals under the lanai, the ceiling fans will help keep you cool as you take in all this property has to offer.
At night enjoy sitting by the propane fire as you make S'mores and talk about the memories you created at Manasota Key.
If the beach is more your thing, which we suspect it probably is, fill up the Sugar Shack's beach-wagon with the supply of beach toys for the kids, chairs and umbrella to enjoy the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We also provide 3 adult Kayaks, 4 kid kayaks, 4 paddle boards, and life jackets that you can be used during your stay (based on the condition from the previous guests).
If fishing is more up your alley use our poles (based on the condition from the previous guests) and fish from the beach, or from Lemon Bay. Both are under 150 short steps away from the Sugar Shack.
Shell & shark tooth hunting is a popular way to also pass the time on Manasota Key, you won't come home empty handed. You will find more shark teeth here than any other beach around us.
Cruise around the Island on one of the bikes or scooters that we provide. We offer lots of sizes of bikes and helmets so that your whole family can enjoy (based on the condition from the previous guests).
The Sugar Shack has all of the cooking utensils you need to make your favorite meals at your home away from home. There are several restaurants with live entertainment that are a short jaunt from the home (walking or bike riding distance for most). More than enough places to visit a new one every night during a weeks stay.
Golf, Jet Ski's, Charter Fishing, Snokeling, Dolphin Watching Tours, Parasailing, and Boat rentals are available on the Island, less than 5 minutes away. The Sugar Shack binder will have information on all of these activities to help you plan once you arrive.

Summary: We have 2 adults and 5 kids (ages 17-8) & the Sugar Shack fit all of our needs perfectly. The layout of the house gives everyone space to spread out and relax. The kitchen and living area is perfect for family meals and hanging out. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Haveing 2 full bathrooms plus an outdoor shower was awesome foe getting clean after a day at the beach. We loved hanging out on the upper deck and utilizing the lower patio area. Hammock swings and the fire pit were so fun. One od the best thinga about this house is all of the amenities. We ises the kayaks, paddleboards & bikes almoat daily. Plus the shed is full of anything you could possibly need for the beach (& an amazing beach cart). The location was great a quick walk to the ocean or the bay! I highly recommend the Sugar Shack for any family vacation. We would 100% come back & will recommend it to family & friends!

Summary: The Sugar Shack is the absolute best rental on the island. They think of everything you could possibly need and supply it for you. From chairs to relax in to paddle boards. We will be staying again for sure.

Summary: The Sugar Shack is a great spot for a beach getaway. The description and amenities are exactly as described. There were plenty of beach chairs and a nylon cabana for the beach as well as tons of beach towels. The home was generously stocked with necessities. Bikes, paddle boards, etc all available and easy to use. Of note- there is an icemaker in the freezer and another in the closet with washer and dryer- a great thing for beach trips! No need to buy or worry about ice. We took advantage of local restaurants and bars (all walking distance- but Stumpy’s free rides (plus tip) is available if walking is not preferred - or not a good idea after a nite out!!. Brian and Brittany sent us lots a really helpful information in advance and the check in and out process was seamless. You will not regret a stay at the Sugar Shack!

Summary: An amazing property in a quiet and tranquil area. Short walk to the beach which is amazing! We found hundreds of sharks teeth and the water was clear! Short walk to the tiki bar and restaurants. We kayaked in the bay and saw tons of dolphins. We loved the house which had everything you could think of (besides a oool or hot tub).

Summary: We love the Sugar Shack!! The house has everything you’ll need. The owners were very responsive. Checking in out was a breeze! Love the location! Not too busy and just steps to the beach. My only complaint is it’s already booked next year. I would highly recommend this house for your next vacation.

Summary: Our family of 6 had a fantastic stay at the Sugar Shack! Location can’t be beat - a block from the beach and a block to the bay. Very quiet street and neighborhood. So relaxing! The home had everything you could need and then some. Kayaks were awesome to have. Beach gear and shark hunting gear was available. There was a storm the day before our arrival and Brian was in touch with us ahead of time to keep us posted on status of the home. Everything worked out perfectly and we would love to stay here again in our next vacation!

Summary: If your looking for a location away from the tourist traps and close to a great gulf beach then this is it. Our family flew to Florida for the first time and were concerned with not having all the stuff we normally take to a beach. Well this house has everything. I mean everything. Chairs, coolers, canopies, umbrellas, wave boards, kayaks, etc. That was the outside stuff. The inside was more than equipped as well. Great communication from the owner, and plenty of local info for places to eat and stuff to do. Overall an A+. My family would love to come back again.
